Recital and Concert Classical Guitar featured

There are three classical guitar models for selection and are featured as follows:

• The Recital 

This model will suit a student player who is looking for a guitar which is moderately priced, has easy playability and features a cedar top which has depth and projection of sound. 

• The Master

The Master Series  model features either a Cedar or a Spruce solid top.  Braced with a mix of traditional Torres and cabon fibre lattice.

• The Concert

The Concert Series features the Double top soundboard. By mixing or matching the inner and outer plates influences tonal qualities of the top. Braced with a mix of traditional Torres and cabon fibre lattice.

** All models feature a 12 hole bridge which has the extra 6 string holes and makes for a tidier bridge with less clutter and an increased break angle over the saddle**

Nomex® is a lightweight honeycomb fibre made from thin paper and coated with a kevlar coating which has found it's way into the lutherie industry.  Already it has proven a real winner in guitar top technology making it up to 40% lighter than the solid top.  Other benefits are that the double top is very stable in changes in humidity and temperature, in fact I recently had two european sound boards in the making, one solid and the other a double top, both braced the same and the double top remained very stable against the solid top in a humidity change.  The results are increased volume whilst retaining all the qualities you would expect from a traditional guitar. By mixing or matching the inner and outer plates you can influence tonal qualities. Guitars with Western Red Cedar tops are warmer and softer than spruce in general whilst spruce has an fundamental and clear, beautiful and brilliant tone. Mixing these can give a combination with the outer plate being the major influence. I am really drawn to the double top guitar and are proud to add it to my inventory.
